Think I might have a Dropbox account.

Quick query about synchronisation.  If I delete a file/piccie/whatever from my PC, will the cloud drive delete it from there too?

The reason I ask is that sometimes my old (now defunct) desktops slowed down as they were running out of disk space.  I'm always worried about deleting localised files, which I might want to keep on the cloud/elsewhere, since the word synchronise has a somewhat specific meaning in my eyes.

Individual files will be deleted but are recoverable for a while (I'm uncertain how long). I think now you can only have the app on three machines. To drop a complete machine if you uninstall the app I think that frees you up to add it elsewhere. It 100% means you can delete the folder with impunity as without the app it will never know

I have a Google Drive account.  Everything I create or add to is copied on to it.

Like Klon, I also copy new things on Google Drive to my two SSD discs, two in case one of them should turn its toes up (I should call them 'Belt' and 'Braces'!).
