Quote from: Raven on Yesterday at 12:24:11 AMI had the vet come to the house to do the deed, then they took him away to be cremated. I wanted him to be on the sofa all comfy on his blanket with me right beside him.

That's what I have always done too, Raven.

It is done at home,  with me holding them,  so they feel peaceful and not frightened like at the vets.
It never, ever gets any easier or less painful for us though, does it.

Quote from: Alex on Yesterday at 10:33:25 AMI take D3 and Turmeric, no idea if it helps or not
This is it,  isn't it.
How do we know if they work or not?

I know I had a load of blood tests a couple of months ago,  and most of the results were good and not lacking in any Vitamins or Minerals at all.
However,  I suppose  we don't really know if it is because of the supplements, do we.

I suppose the only way we would know would be if we stopped taking them for a few months, then have another blood test.

Providing they do no harm, and there's a chance that they do good then at least a placebo effect would be beneficial, surely.

Yes, I kinda think like that, too.

I also know some of them say not to take without a doctor's advice though. I wonder why?
Unless its because of a chance certain ones might alter the work of existing prescribed drugs,  dunno.

I think that's most likely.  After all, at the end of the day, they are chemicals being added to an ongoing chemical situation.

Scrumpy

I do believe that companies add many warnings to their produce in order to cover their backs..
We live in an age where some will search a label just to look for a warning that is not there ..

I have just purchased a Bonne Maman Sweet and Crunchy Peanut Spread.. That is what the label reads.. Looking through the ingredients I notice that in reads .. May contain NUTS..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

klondike

I think it may be a legal requirement now. It surely must be. Doesn't the same sort of thing happen with fish?

I'll ask AI

Lots of stuff that boils down to it pretty much is a legal  necessity so the they do it as a CMA exercise.

I'll CMA here in case anybody doesn't know what CMA means...

I've seen the same sort of thing on a Fish Pie, Scrumps  -  'Contains fish.'
Can't help but smile at these things sometimes ey.
