Want to - or Ought to?

Might seem an odd question,  but if you had an important decision to make,  would you say better to do what you  want to do at our age in life,   or what you  ought to do?

And what if the two choices might have  very different consequences?

How would you make your choice?

Good question Mups.  I think that I'd try an reach a compromise between the two, if that makes sense.

Too tough for me to answer for sure. I might take one route and might take another. I doubt I'd do something I didn't want to just because I maybe ought to though. If that makes any sense.

It would depend on a lot of things.  If it only affected me, I may well to do what I want.  If others were involved, then duty often calls.

Very difficult to answer..
As we get older we can't always do what we want to do.. Because deep down we know it is not the right choice.
We know that we 'ought to do' certain things .. But it is so difficult to change what we know and are comfortable with..
As I am at the moment I think I would do what 'I want to do'..
The day will come soon enough that I must do what 'I ought to do'...

Whatever it is Mups... Only you can decide the answer..

We have come to that point in life where we should - if we can do want we want too.
But ought we too ? 

I think at the end of days people regret what they didn't do in life rather that anything else .
