Why is Channel 5 so greedy?

We're just now watching the 'Vet programme', and adverts pop up every few minutes, or so it seems.
I think that after this episode I shall forget greedy Channel 5.  This is a good, interesting series, but there are dozens of other channels worth watching.

Mups

Too many adverts on all the channels who do this, JBR.   Gets on my wick, too, although I hadn't noticed Ch.5  any worse than anyone else.
There seems to be more and more ads and they go on for longer than ever.  Too many repeat ones too!

Even You Tube has lots of adverts now.

Pretty much unwatchable without paying. I gave in and paid. At least they didn't threaten me with £1,000 pound fines if I didn't or keep sending me threats about coming round to see me if I didn't cough up though.

Adverts !!   They all want our money to help other countries..

They talk about booking your funeral and how Ethel got it right with a Pure Cremation..
'It was a lovely send off  .. The sausage rolls were so tasty.... Shall we book ours today?..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

It certainly does.
Whenever I try to open an item of interest on the telly, and the inevitable adverts begin, I immediately press the 'back' button on the remote.  The next advert usually begins, so I press the 'back' button again.  I repeat this (which takes little time and effort) until the item begins without adverts.
Yes, it often requires several button pushes, but at least I never have to watch the adverts!

I bet you've got AAs on an Amazon subscription

We record anything we want to watch and FF thru the ads. 👍🏽

How much did you have pay? Is it one-off or a regular payment?
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me

It's £12.99 a month so not cheap. Only a bit cheaper  than the BBC but I do watch a lot of YouTube. Huge range of stuff on there. Most of what I watch wouldn't get a look in on BBC.
