I'd suggest that he is a person of very similarly strange interests as you Klon.
After all, Inverters (whatever they are) are not to be found down the middle aisles in Aldi.  I know, because I have looked.

Ahh those were tge days, 'pecker up' when the love muscle pointed proudly North..but now sadly ..South....ah well. I have unpacked my rucksack having missed the transport to Paradise, the Yorkshire tea bags and hobnobs have been put away...maybe next year eh?

Looking at Klon's picture of Grendell, he may be very big and scary-looking, but he appears to have only one arm.  To make matters worse, I have heard that he's left-handed too, which must be a severe detriment to him.
