I just use the same words day after day. Sometimes I strike lucky with the letters they reveal and other times I don't. Same with guessing which word from several possibles is correct.

I tend to do the same, and I always use all the vowels in the first two words.  I did get impatient today though.

I use 3 words with no letter repeated covering the most frequently used letters then a fourth that only repeats the A. It's why I often take 4 or 5 on Wordle as I've found guessing too early often takes more goes. My only aim is to not fail rather than try to guess quickly unless I'm very sure that the guess is going to be correct.

What messed my Rescue today was not looking through every unsolved word. I saw quickly after the bad guess that  a word further on was a certainty and would have ruled out my bad guess.

Yes too many possibilities in rescue today. Even on the last I had a choice of two. I picked the word they often use. Had it not been the last I'd have gone for the other with would reveal two letters rather than a repeat.

I used to amuse myself in one of the games here - a word with 4 letters and you could change only one. I went for weeks only changing the first letter. There weren't many times that I looked at it and there was no option that fit my own imposed rule.
