klondike, I've played this for a wee while.  I like it. As you say, the secret is in using all the letters as often as you can.

it's a services expression displaying dissatisfaction with the state of affairs - I was surprised to see it in this context - perhaps the American usage is more common. Don't think that I have heard it used in the UK other than in a services or services derived context - hope I haven't given too much away

As my tactic is to use or remove letters starting with the common ones it wasn't hard as it was all that I could make from those I had found and what was left.

I tried Blossom again and thought I hadn't done too badly. Your effort put me well to shame. I suspect I just don't have the patience or maybe it's just the skill. I always do all the games before looking here to avoid spoilers. I see that was a wise choice today. Perhaps if I had looked first I'd have tried harder at Blossom.
