Wordle

I use as a first word a word containing 4 vowels. Depending on what that throws up, my second word will have the fifth vowel and four common consonants, or an alternative if the fifth vowel is unlikely to feature. I agree that the words do seem to have become more difficult to deduce of late

I do clear the vowels in my first three words but find the consonants are much more useful in guessing a word. 

I found in quordle that concentrating on one of the words was a recipe for failure so concentrated instead in that on clearing out the common letters before starting to figure out words and carried that over to wordle. It's rare I get the word quickly but it's also rare that I spend much time on it. Their increasing use of uncommon letters is messing with that tactic and I failed completely yesterday.

I do it with Marnie and Richard.. We use the same start word for a while until someone chooses another.. 
I sometimes struggle , even when there is only a couple of letters needed ..
