Quote from: Dextrous63 on August 19, 2025, 05:40:07 PMGiven the proximity of some fairly rough and tumble lads and lasses in an area not too far away, if anything does happen I suspect it could kick off big style.
If you're thinking of Wythenshawe, they wouldn't dare but the invaders in there!

Quote from: Alex on August 19, 2025, 06:10:47 PMA free Country is living in a country  where you can express your opinion without having to fear that you are arrested.

Rose Docherty, 75, was arrested after police were called to reports of an anti-abortion protest in Hardgate Road in Glasgow, near the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital February 2025

Hamit Coskun, arrested - a 50-year-old man charged with a religiously aggravated public order offence after he burned a Koran outside the Turkish consulate in London. The case has sparked fears that England and Wales are on the brink of reviving blasphemy laws by stealth, despite having formally abolished them in 2008.

Lucy Connolly 41, arrested she was sentenced two years and seven months in prison for posting on Twitter. A post she removed after 2 hours. This followed the murder of small children in Southport.

Ansu just a couple of incidents showing what is happening in UK now.  There is no longer free speech here when people can be arrested for a Facebook post !

Exactly.  Excellent examples.  The way things are going, Britain will be a muslim-controlled country before long.  But hopefully not until I am in my box.

I am beginning to feel that it already is...

We are scared to speak out against them.. It is an offence..
Are they worried about protesting and speaking up against us... No..

Tommy Robinson is a prime example... I admire the man..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

So do I.  Perhaps a little too outspoken, but what he says is true.
Every day, I see something in the news which makes me upset and angry at what is happening to our country.  The country which my father's generation gave their lives to protect from foreign aggression.
The country which is now being taken over by foreigners who are of absolutely no benefit to the country and, moreover, who are likely to be a great danger to us.  An enemy which is being directly supported by politicians, civil servants and others in authority.
Of course Tommy Robinson is right.  I just wish that there were many more like him.

Tommy Robinson is correct, if he was posh he'd be an MP by now, poor working class boys and girls don't get into parliament without a lot of boot licking, which Tommy won't do.

I am a long way from London so I don't think I will be going to it but I do intend to raise the flag in my garden .
It's about time we did something .
There is nothing wrong with displaying the flag of your country .

As opposed to imaginary Middle East ones .

One of our neighbours has an American flag in their garden..
... and a man down the road flies the English flag.. He has done so for years..

Oh, the left-wing authorities wouldn't dare to tear that down, just as they are too frightened to remove 'Palestine' flags!
What a country we live in now.

If I may be permitted to play with the syllables of the word "country", then it is true that we are living under the rule of a lot of trying c....s

We'd need the Union flag! OH English, me Scots.  Our kids were born one in each country too. 🇬🇧
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

They would if it was a Confederate flag...

I've been working my way through another Douglas Adam's book.  Very interesting.  I never knew that even prior to the moment of conception, I was a white supremacist and that everything throughout history was my fault.
