More Immigrant problems

I have jsut been reading about a village in Northants, called Crick.  Below is a picture of part of it.

Its  only a small village of thatched cottages and around 2,000 residents,  yet the Government, in their wisdom, sent loads of immigrants to a hotel there.

The residents are really kicking up about it and say the park has become a 'No-Go'  place now,  as large groups of men hang around in the park after dark,  some playing football?  In the dark??

The locals are, understandably,  afraid to let their daughters go out now,  especially after dark.

'Serco'  have been contacted, but say they cannot impose curfews on these hotel people, nor prevent  them from leaving the hotel.

I am sorry,  but I wonder why immigrants are never housed next door, or close proximity to the Government bods homes?   I wish they were,  because then those that rule us would understand people's fears more.  They need to experience it to know what its like.

Since taxpayers pay for MP's second homes, if there are any spare rooms then they could be used to accommodate some immigrants.

It must be worse for those people in villages than it is for us 'townies'  and it's bad enough here !

Yes, I agree.   In small villages it must be much more noticeable.

I think its a bad decision though,  because most villages only have limited facilites,  like maybe one infants school,  or one local doctor  etc,  so how can they suddenly cope with a large influx of people?

ah but the illegals have their own doctor's surgery at their hotel.

The doctor is no problem as they probably get one each plus a dentist direct from the taxpayers. No sitting on the phone hearing "You are thirty four in the queue" followed by a countdown followed by " Sorry all today's appointments are booked. If you are dying call 999 otherwise call again tomorrow at 8am"

The school won't be a problem as there won't be any children.

The lack of anything at all to do is a problem though.

I know I would be concerned if I had a daughter and gangs of blokes were gathered about at night,  and also for my own safety as well.

I'd be wary too. There are lots here who daren't go back to their home country because they are shirt lifters and would be stoned or have bits cut off or something. Apparently. Well that's what they claim anyway.

I can understand you, but I think you just forget that these young people often don't have a room where they can meet in the evening and where they come from life mainly takes place on the street.
When we spent our holidays in a Southern Italian village for the first time, we were quite surprised that at midnight life was still so lively as at noon in our town.
However, I, too, think it's no good idea to accommodate immigrants/refugees (a lot of them) in small villages.
Here in Germany we have the same problem.

I live in a small town & until a few days ago I thought we didn't have any illegal immigrants.

That was before someone started talking about "all these illegal immigrants" wandering about the town so I said that according to a 'The Nearest Illegal Immigrant Hotel To You" website the nearest hotels were in Doncaster.

Apparently we've got a lot of them but they're all housed on a brand new housing development across the road from ours, which is why you don't see any hanging about outside a hotel.

It does explain why we've had recent concerns raised by residents about men hanging about on our open spaces seemingly watching children.

Perhaps they'd be a lot happier if they went back then. I'm sure the majority of taxpayers here would be overjoyed if they did.

A lot of the hotels they live in have conference rooms which have been turned into temporary ' mosques' for the inmates.   There are also restaurants where they eat breakfast and dinner, these are used for meet ups - with railings on the bar of course, can't let these poor boys be tempted by alcohol now can we ? they're dangerous enough sober.

I think it's true that they must be bored in a village with all the locals avoiding them like th plague. It's a recipe for disaster and shouldn't happen. In a city they'd at least have something to do even if it was only illegal car washes, food deliveries and drug running.

I suspect that the government has chosen a small village with little population.  The ideal place for the illegals to practise taking control and develop their abilities for when 'the great takeover' begins.
I'm sure that the victors will allow Starmer & Co. to live somewhere in comfort and safety.
