I agree that over seventies should have an eye test .. be it roadside or regular visit to opticians ..
I think ALL drivers should have an eye test before renewing or obtaining a drivers license ..

The fast drivers around here are the young.. Sorry to say that but it is true..
I have seen older drivers trying to park a motor in a car park.. bloody funny ..
I have seen younger drivers parking anywhere they like.. on the line , over the line..

I do not have a car with sensors .. or (pictures)!! showing what is happening behind the car while reversing..   If I feel that it could a bit of a tight squeeze.. then I don't park..
I have been in a situation where I have to enter my car by the passenger door because the car next to me has not allowed enough room for me to open the door on the drivers side..
 
I think pedestrians should be more aware of their surrounding when in a car park or crossing the road.. Many of THEM need glasses...

I agree about the young drivers being too fast, but it seems to be girl racers now, no longer boy racers in top position.

I hope that it'll not be too long before sat nav's and sensors act in tandem to physically keep cars within appropriate speed limits, and that the proximity sensors will alert drivers of their own poor driving/parking efforts, and offer inducements to improve.
