Just one kind sentence

With all the doom and gloom at the moment,  Celebrities in trouble,  trouble at airports, stabbings everywhere,  starvation, and cruelty etc,  I loved it when a friend WhatsApped me yesterday with just a few simple but lovely words:


"True friends are those who lift you up when no one else even noticed you were down."
And there was a little colourful picture underneath of two little Ladybirds sitting on a leaf together 'talking.'


Am I getting soft in me old age,  or does anyone else think that's really nice?  Probably won't appeal to the men much,  but I liked it very much.

They certainly are. I get a good morning text from my granddaughter every day, some of her ramblings have me in stitches and it always cheers me up.
