Quote from: Dextrous63 on August 01, 2025, 11:20:30 PMMust admit, I've never really liked mushy peas.  My wife considers them an essential add-on.  Left to her own devices, she'd have them with a Sunday roast.

Mr M is the same he loves em with fish and chips .
Especially if they are radioactive green

Can't stand mushy peas - but like 'proper' peas

However, I don't think I would want them putting the S&V on for me.  How do they know how much we like?
If they smothered it in salt, and soaked it in vinegar,  I don't think I would  be able to eat it.
Yep

I have never tried mushy peas..  As kids we liked Marrowfat peas.. I think they are similar to mushy..
Last time I went to the chippy  the wrapper put the salt and vinegar on... But the vinegar was NOT in a spray container and sprayed on...... That is what I found unusual..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Ah.  I think I may have missed your point about them using a spray rather than a squirty (or even an original sarson's type) bottle.

I missed your mist, as it were😬

Funnily enough,  I only ever had them with Fish & Chips,  they seemed part of the meal somehow.
Wouldn't want them with my sunday roast though!

Scrumps,  don't think I have ever seen 'spray'  vinegar?

Had it once when I was about 13.  Never again!!

No,  don't fancy that somehow, Dex.
I vaguely seem to remember my Dad liking it though.

The bottle of spray vinegar was mixed up by the chippy...
Diluted vinegar put in one of those see through spray bottles that you use to spray your roses with...
