The Power of the Internet

Earlier I was reading about a man who stood and watched his two kids chase a mother sheep over a cliff in Porth.  When a couple of passers-by objected, he threatened to throw them over too.  What a lovely man this is.

A wildlife organisation has put his picture on their website and X in the hope of identifying him, it didn't take long.   The thug is from Frimley in Surrey and was convicted 5 years ago for hare coursing, so a cruel man with obviously no love for animals.

His name is Sam Haylett , he runs a landscaping and paving business called Sam & Son Building and Landscapes.
I hope his business goes under, evil man.

Bastard... and his kids are bastards too...
Any child.. whether they be from a rich or poor family can recognise cruelty..
You can not put the blame on the parents.. all the time..
If an animal cries or cowers in fear .. it doesn't take a genius to work out that something is wrong..

I couldn't imagine anyone in my family doing such cruel acts.. I would hate them..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Stocks.  Birching.  There's a place for those.

I agree wholeheartedly with this. Going to jail is a soft option BUT, being made to sit in the stocks in front of the public receiving punishment from animal lovers (in this case) would be a far more scary thing to go through. It would be a much better deterrent in my book.  :nooo:  :poke:
As for birching, bring it on.

As we don't appear to have many prison places left, and since incarceration is somewhat expensive anyway, then we need to find alternative ways to deter and punish.  Add in some community service, then everyone's a winner.

... and tattoo his face with  a  I AM CRUEL TO ANIMALS...

My granddaughter Hattie would be happy to do it for free..

He will probably just get a small fine and a few days unpaid work,  nothing more.

Those kids don't stand a chance of growing into decent human beings,  not with their Father teaching them all he knows.    Then they will probably teach their own kids one day, too because they are not seeing any punishment handed out.

I cannot understand the minds of cruel people,  and cannot abide, nor forgive cruelty.

I rather like that idea, Scrumps.

In fact, why not visibly tattoo all criminals with their crimes.

Not sure about tattooing.  If they've paid the price, learned their lesson and reformed into useful human beings, then the issue has been resolved.  They'll have to live with the memory of their sins and subsequent punishments.  That'll be enough.

'Learned their lesson'...!!!

I doubt anyone who can be cruel to animals , over and over again, will ever learn their lesson..
Cruelty is imbedded deep inside .. it is their nature to harm creatures who can't fight back..
I certainly wouldn't want him or anyone of his like anywhere near Lottie or Bertie our family dogs..
If they were (Dangerous) pitbulls then I would be happy to let him try to harm them..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Not claiming that they will have changed their urges, but that they'll have learned the lesson not to act upon them.
