Are you in favour of Macron's state visit ?
Grovelling with a capital G from Charles as they all scoff and drink 🍷 at taxpayers expense !

Interesting to see if Donald Trump gets the same treatment, though I suppose the carriage ride will be out of the question.

If he can be nailed down into stopping the boats leaving France then Yes. Otherwise No, he can get stuffed.

I'm afraid that our so-called King is quite a wimp.  He was exactly the same at his posh public school apparently.  I believe the late Queen tried to hang on for as long as possible, simply because she could see what a job he would make of becoming the King.  Yes, I appreciate that he has some sort of cancer, but he seems quite able to crawl up to Micron!

The French are not our friends, as I have said many times.  They will take full advantage of the weakness of our leaders, both political and royal, and they in turn will bend over backwards for them.

You must be joking.  That one occasion where French police deflated a dinghy was nothing but a show prior to Micron's visit, in the hope of TwoTier handing them everything they want.
Wait and see, and count how many boats come across the Channel tomorrow.

I think most of the invites come from HMG not Charles. Certainly it was Starmer browning his kecks under threat of tariffs who offered Trump the unprecedented second state visit and I have no doubt that it is Starmer who is eager to kiss le derrier Fracais because he wants an ally getting us back into the EU with no vote in how things are done.

Absolutely.  Charlie-boy is not the one inviting them in.  That is the Labour party's doing.
Our real problem now, in my opinion, is a completely inept government.
What the King could do, and certainly should do, is to dissolve our present government on the grounds that they are doing nothing to benefit the country but are, conversely, damaging the country in many different ways.
He won't, of course, because he lacks a backbone.

However any of our lot behaved, Macron nailed it when he said it's not surprising so many come here, because of our generosity.    We seem to adhere to the ECHR more than most of the EU!
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

He certainly got that right, anyone but Westminster knows that. Who runs the country, the government or the do gooders?

The only running of the country this shower do is into the ground

He may well be, but I still think he was right.  Why can't Starmer et al see it!

Macron is right.. We make it too easy for illegal migrants..
We offer accommodation .. food.. warmth.. pocket money and health checks..
The migrants are getting more than the pensioners..
Starmer is a bloody idiot.. He is paving the way for Farage..
Reform are on the way up.. GOOD.
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Micron was indeed correct when he suggested that we are making this country more attractive than France for third-world people who are looking for as many handouts as they can get.  The real problem is that we now have a 'leader' who doesn't have a clue what to do.

Micron has suggested that we can return 50 invaders to France per week and that appears to have impressed TwoTier greatly, despite them coming here in hundreds each day.

The next major decision by TwoTier will be for us to rejoin the EU, effectively handing our country over to France, and our so-called King will no doubt be happy with that.

We need a revolution.

I'm up for that..
But not weekends.. I do shopping.. I don't do rain because it spoils the hair..
and never go to London..
I could stand outside the Co-op with a banner I suppose..
But no long words displayed.. Not too bright in these parts..

Banners?  The way the police are sometimes behaving it might not be such a good idea, certainly if it includes the word 'Starmer'.
