Perhaps he's thinking about the ongoing Iran v. Israel war.
I'm hoping that Israel will stop the war by knocking some sense into the Iranian leaders.  After all, in the Telegraph I saw mention that at least some of the Iranians in charge have decided to move to Oman.  I don't know if that's permanent or if it is in case of another accurate Israeli attack on their capital city.

I have a suspicion that, although Trumpy is keeping out of it for now, if Israel should come under increasing danger, he might decide it is time to poke his nose in... as a peacekeeper, of course.
One thing which Israel is unable to do, so I have read, is to destroy the Iranian's nuclear laboratory deep underground, which is too deep for Israel to access by a bomb.  Apparently, the Yanks have deep penetration bombs, one of which could obliterate the Iranians underground site.  Israel doesn't have the means to deliver one of those even if America would let them have one, so we could hear something about that on the news before too long.

We know that Israel has nuclear weapons, and that Iran does not... yet.

I'm not sure that TwoTier will go ahead and help the Americans.  That would mean making a decision!

What military assets we have left is unlikely to make any appreciable difference. The reason the septics wanted us involved in their adventures in Iraq and later Afghanistan was more of a political issue than them needing extra firepower although special forces are always gratefully received.
