Oh dear . . .  I had an idea this could happen a while back,  and it seems now it has.
Trump  v  Musk  fallout.

I don't 'do'  X,  but apparently they have been trading insults all day on X.
I reckon this could get really, really nasty,  and very quickly too.

Not so sure about that, Alex.
They are both powerful men, and both used to getting their own way.

It was just on the late night news.  Apparently they're still  at it with the slanging match.
Musk is now saying Trump should be 'grateful' to him,  because without him,  Trump would never have got elected.

I guarantee that Phil would diagnose both as having narcissistic personality disorder. My diagnosis would be shorter and a lot ruder.

Raven

Banging their silly heads together might help. Yes I also agree both as having narcissistic personality disorder. :poke:

One who thinks he is running the country.
One who is running the county.
Take your pick.. It applies to both of them..

I don't like Musk.. nasty, powerful man..
I knew Epstein would get in on the act.. He would like all that..
Many famous names are (hidden) in the Epstein files..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I agree with your thoughts too, Scrumpy.

I don't like Musk either,  but there again, I feel the same way about Trump too.
I have to mute the tv when he comes on spouting on like he does.

One minor thing that especially annoyed me though ,  was you remember when Trump was so vile to Zalenski at their meeting,  publicly mocking the clothes Zalenski wore and belittling him as much as he could in front of millions of people,   yet when his ex-buddy, Musk,  is seen on telly,  I have never, ever seen that scruffy individual looking smart yet!
He wears grubby looking T-shirts and is rarely seen without that stupid looking cap he always wears.
Yet I haven't ever seen Trump try and make him look a fool over his attire.

Him and Trump both look  ridiculous in those pathetic, childish caps.  Yet he had the nerve to mock Valenski for wearing a jumper instead of a suit!

Unfortunately Trump's mouth sometimes is quicker than his brain..

But he knows what he wants for his country.. and he does his best to implement it..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

But only one voted in by the country..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Trump really had a slam dunk of an election just like Labour.

His approval rating in the US has fallen since the election but despite the dollar and stock market tanking since which is blamed on his idiosyncratic tariffs he has not yet succeeded in keeping up with the buyers remorse that Labour have here.

I've just seen this headline now:

Donald Trump said he has no desire to repair his rift with Elon Musk after the pair descended into a war of words.

The US president also warned the Tesla billionaire he would face "very serious consequences" if he switched his allegiance to the Democrats and funded rival candidates.

Trump will not forget what was said..
Will he forgive him and make friends again.. !!   Only if it benefits his party..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Plus many more so have a search and take your pick. Seems he's getting to be about as popular as Starmer
