I am not 'into'  Politics as a rule,  but this Trump v Putin things looks to be getting worse.

I just saw this article about what Trump is supposed to have said on his social media:

"I've always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him.
He has gone absolutely CRAZY!" wrote Donald Trump.
"I've always said that he wants ALL of Ukraine, not just a piece of it, and maybe that's proving to be right, but if he does, it will lead to the downfall of Russia!"

Doesn't look like either of these two stubborn,  power-hungry men will ever be sensible.

I'm with Trump on this..
Putin has no intention of putting an end to this stupid war..
... and it goes on and on and on..
I think it is costing us a few bob too..

Then we have another war going on in the Middle East between Israel and Hamas - led Palestine..
... and it goes on and on and on..
I think it is costing us a few bob too..

There will always be wars somewhere or other..
Each one seeing innocent people being killed..
.. and it goes on and on and on.

Fed up reading about them..They are like buses..
All quiet for a while then three come along ...
All costing money to others..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I agree, Crump.
In my opinion, Putin is trying to recover his country's 'empire' of East Europe bit by bit.
He has dared to try it on first with Ukraine, simply because they have not joined NATO.

Even now, he is struggling to the extent that he tried to obtain help from his friend North Korea.  That didn't work too well, did it?  The Korean troops apparently couldn't understand Russian!

It will be very interesting if he tries it on with a NATO country, basically just about every European nation apart from Byelorussia, assuming that the US remains a NATO member!

Russia is most likely to win against Ukraine so either Ukraine makes terms or they are crushed.

Perhaps, but before they are crushed, they will have seriously depleted Putin's forces.  They will also quite probably have caused any potential allies of Russia to think again and turn against them.  China could then become the strongest opponent (at least presently not in favour of war) of NATO.
