A few days ago I put an order in with Ocado..
I needed to add to it..
Easy peasy !!! No it was not..
I listed the extra items.. tried to add them to my order.. No luck..
Tried the following day.. hit the same brick wall..
Thought about it even when asleep..
I wouldn't give up.. Tried again this morning.. Pressed a few buttons.. HOORAY!!!
I now have all items added...
I am not too good at technology...
I have no problems with Tesco or Sainsburys..
Could I add more items to my shopping list with Ocado.. ? No.. I can't remember what I did..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

It's not just you, Scrumpy.
I hate their new website.  It used to be a doddle to order, pay, or edit,  but its so confusing now.

Why do these people always have to 'fix'  things when they worked perfectly well before?  Grrr . . .

Alex

Who exactly is Ocado. ?  I've never seen an Ocado supermarket anywhere.

Some of Ocado's own brand stuff is quite good too.
Did you know they have starting delivering for Holland & Barrett now, as well?
So they now sell own brand, M & S,  and H & B too.

However,  for the first time since I started with them about  3 years ago,  I am not pleased.
In fact I have cancelled next week's order,  and its because of their new-look website.
It was a doddle ordering before,  but this new website has put me right off.  I will miss them though.

I get hacked off with firms that fix things that aren't broken.  :boo:
Then like yourself I end up in a muddle, then I phone and if they won't help over the phone I tell them where they can go and what they can do...... Then I have to find out Where I can get what I want. Also if they have the kind of website I can leave a review on......I leave one.

Think I'd prefer to pop into M & S, I like to choose my own fresh stuff   :upvote:

We use Ocado regularly.  Reasonable prices, delivered to your door.  I didn't know that it's M&S, though.

what I like about Tesco is that you can update your delivery order up to 23:46 on the day before delivery
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me

Explain your problem and I'll ask Marge.  She knows all the ins and outs, because she does all the shopping.
After all, it is the traditional female responsibility, isn't it?

I book a slot..
Put items in my basket and checkout..
When I need to add to the list.. I struggle to work out how to do it..
It is not as simple as other stores that I deal with..

Marge says that it is very easy.
Even after you have sent an order, you can still go in to your account and back to 'your orders', click 'edit' and add items to it.
After you have sent an order you will receive a message confirming it, and for several hours after receipt of the confirmation you can still add items, even if you have paid online.  I assume that you cannot add to the order if it has been sent for delivery, but they tell you the expected delivery date and time.

You can add, or subtract,  as many times as you want up until the cut-off time,  which is usually  24 hrs before delivery.

I am wondering whether they have changed their website because of being linked to M&S,  they have perhaps had to update their security.

Most supermarkets like, Morrisons, Asda, Tesco Waitrose etc, have their own vans for deliveries,  but M&S don't.   They use Ocado to do their deliveries for them instead.   Same as Holland & Barret have just started using Ocado to pull for them as well.
