My Co-op is struggling with deliveries.. Many of the shelves are empty..
No.. fruit, veg, milk and eggs are among the items missing..
They have notices displayed...  PLEASE BEAR WITH US DURING THIS TIME..

It is all to do with the cyber attack that some of the bigger stores are going through..
I did manage to get a delivery slot with Ocado for tomorrow.. During the ordering the internet kept shutting down.... I was so pleased when my order eventually went through..

It just goes to show that we are vulnerable and can be brought to a standstill by these whiz kids..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Yes, we use Ocado regularly and, thankfully, without any online problems so far.

Do you think the problems are caused by kids with computers, then?

Most businesses depend on the internet to function. Amazing as it has been around less than 30 years.

I read that too, Scrumpy.

These kids business is supposed to be growing fast too,   because they pass the info on how to hack on to other people, for a share of the profits.

There's no telling who will be next,  because I feel this is only the start.

It was awful in the  Co-op this afternoon.   Loads and loads of empty shelves.
Not one potato in the shop,  short of small bottles of milk, no carrots . . .   and so on.

I got a few bits,  then had to go down to Sainsbury's for the rest.

Whatever reason people hear for this, the real reason is TwoTierKeir.

M&S still not taking online orders due to cyber attack.. must be getting on for three weeks now.. Millions in trade must be lost... The Co-op shelves are not full.. Some goods getting through..
 I have just read this..
I often pop to the Co-op.. But lately I have not found what I'm looking for and had to go into town..

I am lucky I suppose,  because I have Co-op and a small Sainsbury's both within a mile away.
I bet the little Sainsbury's shop is doing a lot more trade all of a sudden,  I just hope they're not going to be hit next.

I too have shops just a quick drive away.. It's the parking that is the problem..
