My language is getting worse
Especially after the following :

Reading the news
Reading / listening to BBC
TALKING TO TEL ANSWERING  MENUS not humans
Filling in online forms that won't take my information .
Dealing with people .
Especially virtue signalling  idiots especially politicians
When my computer won't work
When I have lost a document becaue my computer has put it somewhere I will never find .
When they upgrade and change everything around that I have only just got used too .

In fact there are many other things that make me turn the air blue
Excuse me I have just got to go wash my mouth out with soap and water 🙁

I know that feeling only too well, especially after my computer upgraded it's self to the new level of Windows. It's a bloody nightmare.  :wtf: I lost all the audio on my book files, all different, I could no longer take a screenshot, everything has changed, I used to have a good handle on Paint, now I can't use it and I'm still raging about it. I'll have to wait untill either my daughter or granddaughter comes up for a few days, THEN, I might understand it as they're always in the know computer wise.

Language?  I assume that you're all talking about swearing.
Disgusting!  Something that I never do.

Hmmm.

I think part of the problem is as we age, and I'm sure all here will recognise this, we sometimes have issues finding a specific word we do know but it hunkers down in the murky depths of our memory and hides. When seeking the correct word to describe some political figure or other we seek and having missed the mark end up with some common vulgarity instead of the finely honed disparaging word or phrase.

A real pity as most politicians deserve far worse than simply attracting the same title as drivers who cut you up, cyclists on the pavement, customer service departments etc. which in the big scheme of things are really just minor irritants.

A real gentleman would be completely bemused by that strange emoticon and have no idea what it meant. As indeed am I.

Oh, I'm absolutely sure that Granny, as a polite young lady has no idea what those letters stand for.

Perhaps, 'What's That For?'

Well, you're not a rude old man, unless you are here in disguise of course.

Well turn it the right way then!  Surely, you've done it enough.

Taps are just an upside-down version of a bottle top!
Have a plumber turn it upside down and you'll be sorted.
