I've been watching a video on robots and the progress in their ability to move is amazing. The American DARPA has been pouting its $Billions in and from what I saw I can't see that it will be long before we get robot soldiers in two legged and four legged form.

I won't link to the long one I've been watching but be amazed by this model strutting its stuff.

If you want to see plenty more search Youtube for Boston Dynamics robots. The one in the video below is the Atlas model. Other companies are producing them too.

That looks spookily good.
Although who needs a break-dancing robot is beyond me?  :hmm:

Vlad

Do they do a realistic female love doll?

That's just a promotional video of what they can do. They will be eventually used by the military and in workplaces. I'm guessing that the DARPA (ie American military) investment is keeping them going.

I think Vlad may be disappointed. I'm guessing they cost a lot more than the blow up jobs and probably don't come with appropriately warmed up bits which would spell disappointment.

I did try one of those inflatable dolls, a Muslim one, they were cheaper. I was taking it home on the bus when it blew itself up....
