Bugger the label.. I would wear a Primark frock if it was the right one for me..

Then you wouldn't buy it !  Primark items in charity shops are dearer than in Primark

Same here.   Labels don't bother me.
On the other hand,  I wouldn't know who half of them were anyway.  I've never followed 'fashion.'

Over the coming weeks there will be many theories discussed about these cyber attacks..
It will probably take some whizz kid to sort it.. Aged twelve..

I just saw today that the criminals are boasting they have now got 20 million  Co-op customers personal details!

It said in the paper that the Co-op are playing it down and not saying how bad it really is.

I wonder if they can obtain people's bank details from store loyalty cards?

klondike

It depends what the database behind the cards holds. I doubt that would be bank or credit card details. I can't see it being much more than probably than an account number, email, name, address and password hash along with rewards total and of course a fair bit of data on spending habits.

It just made me wonder because I've got a Co-op loyalty card,  and an M&S one, too.  Bit worrying.   :hmm:

Guess what's happened now?

In yesterday's paper it said that the gang who did M&S are a group of young hackers from the US and UK, and this group is growing quickly because they are offering advice to other cyber criminals now and then taking a cut of their  profits.

What's even worse is YouTube, and other websites, are reported to have information on making malware to access systems and demand something in return,  such as huge payments!

When approached for comment about allowing this, they are reported as saying:

"YouTube prohibits content that promotes using or distributing malware to harm others or access secured systems.
"We may make exceptions for content aiming to educate viewers about these risks,  when it does not encourage harmful malware use."

There are no bank details on ANY loyalty cards..
When shopping online with any store I never let them keep my bank details.. I have to enter my details on every transaction..
Unless you permit , they are not allowed to keep your details.. and if you believe that.. you will believe anything..
