Scrumpy

A 12 and 14 year old was found guilty of manslaughter after punching and kicking an 80year old gentleman in a park whilst walker his dog in a park next to his home last year.

Police believe it to be a racial attack on Bhim Kohli...

Just an old man walking his dog in Franklin Park Leicester ...
A vulnerable man who couldn't fight back...

I bet these bastards will be walking the streets in 5years time...
Not so the man and his dog...
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Unbelievable, I hope the wee brats get hell inside, after all everyone has/had a grandad.

More than likely at those ages. I wish it weren't so but fear it will. They will forever have this on their records though and when they reoffend hopefully they won't get off so lightly.

So sad.  Poor man.
It's similar to the 13 yr old girl who has just murdered a lady in the next town to me.

What's going on with these kids today?
About the worst thing we ever did was knock on doors and run away,  or go scrumping.

No idea Mups.  They surely must see this sort of thing being reported as a bad and disgusting thing to do, and yet some of them still think it's worth doing.

Sociopathic, or maybe just thick🤷🏻♂️

Either way, it demonstrates a complete failure of imagination and a lack of empathy.

All of the above. It does beg the question of parenting. No punishment allowed in schools, no consequences until something really evil occurs.  Should the killer be named?
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

I suspect that all in that area will already know who it was. Naming/not naming is of little consequence.

We kids went out in the streets.. up the park.. over the common..
We went scrumping and played Knock-out- Ginger..
The local bobby would be walking around.. We all went quiet when we saw him..
If we did anything wrong he knew where we lived..
My mum would box our ears if ever we did.. She never did box our ears..
She had no reason to.. We respected her and the local bobby..

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Where did it all go so wrong?  :boo:

I'm coming to the conclusion that since this sort of thing has a perverse "badge of honour" attached to it for those who carry it out, then they should be hung, drawn and quartered do that they will be unable to wear that badge for long.

I said elsewhere that the planet is overpopulated.  Time to redress the balance.

Do they ever feel pain I wonder ?
If not they need to so they can empathise.

Bad parenting and the evils of Internet influences...voila!

This is the real problem.
Kids today are fully aware that nothing will happen to them because they are 'under age'.   Wen ah wer a lad, I was afraid of a good hiding from my dad if I did wrong, even more afraid of the police, afraid of a caning at school (which I once received) or even a clout around the head.
I think it is perfectly natural that if there are no punishments, children will misbehave and sometimes seriously.
I wonder whether the powers-that-be will eventually come to realise their mistake.
