Being a first time grandmother over 70 and enjoying 5 years of him, I'd love another 5

The first time my son commented when I was driving GM, I asked him what did he think had made him a good driver. Before he could answer I suggested it was because he had spent all those teenage years sitting along side me in the car.

Learning through your numerous mistakes no doubt😬😬

If I'm getting a lift I never comment on the driver's driving. I often have to bite my tongue though as both my daughter and granddaughter have over heavy right feet imo. Beyond their skill levels.

Ain't it strange how close to the nearside/kerb feels when you're the passenger.  White knuckle ride at times😳

And yet you know that that's probably exactly how you drive.😬

As a passenger I always think big oncoming vehicles are taking more than their share of the road.

My mate ... Is a back seat driver.. She tells me when to go/stop at traffic lights.. When the road is clear to pull out.. Where there is a parking space. Even if it's only big enough for a wheel barrow..
Do I listen ?.. What do you think.. ?

I've got a friend like that Scrumps, best part is she never learned to drive and never had a licence !

Does she have the annoying habit of looking to see if something is coming and blocking your view in the process?

Yeah,  especially all the big wide cars on the roads now.  They take up 1 & half parking lots too.
There seem to be less and less ordinary size cars left nowadays.

As a passenger I am terrified when some juggernaut  passes by me only millimetres away .
Mr M says airily 'could get a bus through there '
Yeah right 😡
