Why.. ?

   Are we getting all these nasty illnesses going around..
People feeling sick.. dizzy .. and wobbly legs. ?
 I'm not saying we were all fit as a fiddle years back.. But we didn't have all these different illnesses.
Some with nasty symptoms causing us to take to our beds..
We had colds in the winter.. and heat rashes in the summer.. The doctor would prescribe a tonic.. 

No central heating .. No lightweight quilted coats..


Today people are popping pills for this, that and the other.. So many medicines on offer at the chemist..
We don't like touching people or standing too close should they be carrying some nasty germs..
I don't get it.. something is going on.. I'm staying in doors..

Wasn't it meteorites rather than the aurora?

Wyndham produced some excellent stories quite a few of which have been brought to the screen several times over. I can't recall if I have them as audiobooks but will certainly be giving them another go if I do and getting them if I don't.
