I can' bring myself to read the link.. There are some evil people out there..

They should be put in a field without an exit... and a snipper.. Bastards.

This country is fast going down the tubes.

I have been hinting to Dunc about getting an alpaca, I have seen quite a few wee herds of them and they are lovely.

Read about it yesterday.  There are some real twats out there.

We have always had stupid idiots in this country.  In the good old days they were punished properly, which effectively discouraged most of them.
Sadly, as we all know, there seem to be no consequences to committing crime and in addition there is little incentive to have to work for a living.
Consequently, we have many young people who have nothing better to do than amuse themselves by doing such evil things for their 'entertainment'.
Apart from realistic punishments, we need to encourage young people to look for work by no longer paying them from our taxes to carry on like this.

This awful story was on the news on telly tonight.  Cambridge is the next county to me.
They said out of 5 Alpacas,  only 1 survived.   They also shot a sheep.
They shot these animals in the head and face.

I can't imagine the sick minds of people who do these things.  Those poor animals.

The poor creatures even had dog bites...
Evil people playing an evil (sport)...
I hope they suffer misery themselves at some point of their lives .. Be it an incurable painful illness or the loss of someone they dearly love..
And I hope if they reach old age they are lonely and cold.. stuck in a nursing home with nasty care staff..

Just sayin'

If the police do ever find them  (and its a big 'if'),  they need to feel the same fear as they installed in the innocent animals.
One could be set upon by dogs, just like they did,  and the rest could watch their mates get shot in the face,  knowing their turn was coming.

I often think if criminals were punished like-for-like,  they would learn much more, and quicker too, rather than being put in a prison with their mates to have their meals cooked for them and nice Gym, and a game of Poole.

I completely agree with this.  No punishment = no deterrent, and they wonder why crime is on the increase.
We don't need more prisons because they're full.  My solution, six to a cell and only let out once a day for an hour, a few at a time.  Soft Britain = more crime.

I would love to see the stocks brought back to town squares and village greens. A simple thing but one hell of a deterrent.

They look pretty big holes, unless they are for heads!
A much better idea, as you can't duck down to avoid the rotten eggs.

There are a lot of people who argue that harsher prison treatment isn't a deterrent.

My view is that murderers who have been caught and executed have never offended again.  That demonstrates that it deterred them.

Indeed.  The ideal deterrent.
