How often do you clean your Mobile phone

My mobile slipped out of a pocket down the pan. Some things still worked but others didn't. From memory it stopped the USB port working but charging was still OK. I gave it to my grandson. I didn't mention why it had stopped working though.

A friend of mine did that - 3 times!!   
She kept having to take it back to the mobile shop for drying out.

The bugs on my phone pretty much all got there from my hands. Perhaps we should all be washing our keys etc. on a regular basis. I do wipe my phone over but that's mostly so I can see through the finger smears.

Never cleaned it other than a quick wipe to get rid of fingerprints. Nobody else ever touches it, I don't go into shops or the like - so where's the prob?

Gosh.  Next you'll be telling us you never run your chip pan oil through a sieve/filter once in a while. 😬😬

Well yes,  I only give mine a quick wipe occasionally,  too.

I think it might have been more about people who sit on the throne chatting on the their mobiles,  then wipe their bums.  Aaghh.  Sorry,  but I think that's horrible.

Quite often actually It sits on the mantlepiece and I run a dettol wipe over the mantle a couple of times a week, the phone usually gets a quick wipe too.

I kid you not, but a nephew of mine a young man in his twenties an ADHD sufferer did wash his rather expensive iPhone in the bathroom sink, he had a thing about germs.

One of our old tenants had a similar thing about cleanliness and used to pour boiling water down the shower drain hole.  This led to the plastic pipe work becoming deformed, and thus leaking.  Oh the joys of replacing it🙄
