This is why I have always said that those who keep putting so many prices up,  and at the same time  curbing our and pensions and allowances,  haven't a clue what life is really like for us lesser mortals.
I bet even their bog rolls are claimed on their expenses!
They live in another world and have little sense of reality.   They are in it for prestige and money.

I also have always thought all those idiots we see on telly in the house of commons,  booing and jeering and generally acting like ill-mannered school boys,  should be chucked out.
You wouldn't be allowed to act like that in any other job and get away with it.

Very disappointed in Lindsay Hoyle.  Another snout in the trough.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Well, I suppose he was a Labour MP at one time, though now expected to be impartial!

I think that if MP's want to travel in First/Business class, they should pay for the difference between that and standard class.

Given that they claim that Hoyle is acting as an Ambassador for parliament, then staying at the Embassy or home of the High commissioner would be appropriate.

BUT

What would be the point of a career in politics if there were no junkets, gifts and privileges? Surely that would only attract the right sort of people?

I'm sorry about the state of the world. Since it's so well paid compared to working for a  living, politics attracts a kind of selfish parasite, which taken on average across the generality, forms a selfish parasite class of person.

Then someone comes along who isn't as bad as the rest, like Rupert Lowe for instance, or even Jeremy Corbyn, and the other insects try to eliminate the intruder rather than listening to what he has to say.

Not as bad as the rest?  Compo?  He was so bad, he was seen as a joke by many.

I think the evidence shows that the worst kind of selfish parasite in Parliament is a defence lawyer...
Like TwoTierKier.

Yes, I agree. 2T fits right into the selfish parasite class.

I wouldn't have voted for Mr Corbyn but he doesn't fit the mould so he was eliminated.
