I have bought my SIL a birthday present and I am well chuffed with my find..

I bought a bottle of red... But he has to solve the puzzle to get to it..
The wine is behind what I can only describe as a wooden scaffold..
He has to solve how to get the scaffold off before he can release the bottle..
He will be in his element...

What sort of gifts do you like.. ?
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I love plants, the more unusual the better.

I go to a fairly expensive spa for a couple of days every year with my daughter, DIL and a friend.  Vouchers please!   Or something for the garden?

My lovely daughter and granddaughter took me out for afternoon tea last Mother's day. That was a nice gift.  My son noticed the cover on my iPad was disintegrating, he's sent for a new one.  That was thoughtful I thought, sonething just out of the blue.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

It's hard to find unusual gifts today, Not On The High Street is quite good though.

I reckon Not on the High Street covers just about everything in this town unless it's tat from pop up shops on short leases where the real shops used to be.

Me too!   I've got far too many indoors already - so what did I do today?
Started sowing Parsnips and Sweet Peas,  and tonight I am experimenting on growing more Carnivorous plants from seed.   I can clutter for England!

I can't see my worktops and windowsills anymore because of  Aloe Vera's,  all sorts of Carnivorous plants, African Violets, Orchids, and Christmas Cactus and Pelargonium cuttings from last autumn.  Oh,  I forgot the baby Salvia cuttings too!   Roll on spring when I can move some outside again.

One of my favourite gifts is a wooden sign that sits above my landing window which reads..

SECOND STAR TO THE RIGHT AND STRAIGHT ON 'TILL MORNING

We're at the stage where we don't really want anything to clutter up the house.

So, we've started to do things like book a night or two away, or a theatre trip.

This Friday, for example, we're off to the Bridgewater to see James Martin cook something.

I am so troubled with clutter these days .
I try to declutter almost every day .
Tomorrow going to take stuff to the charity shop before I change my mind !
I love a clutter free home .
But I also love books and things from  my life .
It makes me sad to think of times past now so I just shove everything back in the boxes .

I also have email clutter .
To many blessed emails .
I can't just delete them all there might be something important .🙁
