Qui?  Moi? 😬😬😬

Not for a fair old while now.  Reckon it's approaching two years since the turnip pulled the plug on me.

Thankyou  Raven.
She's my little cuddle-bunny.
Dreadful drama queen,  but  cuddles  always put her world right again.

Klondike knows that person is an imposter.

I have the real Gertie,  and she's much prettier and less smelly than that imposter..

GrannyMac

Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Thank you Granny &  Dex.    She's a little monkey,  don't be deceived by her innocent face.
She has got me wrapped round his little paws though.  I've never had one like her.  She tells so many porkies,  but I  have to give her the benefit of the doubt incase its the truth this time!

For example,  when she was spayed, she took to her bed for a week.  Convinced herself she couldn't walk.    She wouldn't even go down the garden for a wee unless I carried her,  waited for her finish,  then carried her back to her bed!
She insisted on breakfast in bed,  and her tea later as well,  else she went on Hunger Strike.
She just would not walk until her stitches were all gone.

I am not kidding,  if she stubbed her toe, she'd want her leg in a sling for a month!

Oh Blimey that made me laugh, she sounds a right handful. My Maggiemay was the drama queen in my Clan of Hairys.

Alex

That's one clever dog !

You needn't laugh missus  -  cos I am leaving her to you in my will.

I have a feeling you're right, Alex.

She was in the vets  with a poorly tummy some time back,  they wanted to scan her tum and a couple of other things.
On the second day my favourite vet phoned me and asked what she normally eats at home,  because she had gone on hunger strike with them.  He even asked if I would mind taking some of her usual food down there to try nad tempt her, so I did.
Still she stayed on food refusal.

On the third day he phoned again to ask me to go and fetch her.
They couldn't leave her any longer without food,  and she had also pulled out THREE drips they'd put in her leg!
He said  if she was well enough to do that,  she was well enough to go home!

Within half an hour of getting her home, she asked for something to eat,  and polished a bowl of cooked chicken.
She just wanted home.

*  I must stop taking up half this thread,  or I shall get told off.
