Alex

Just heard from a Dutch woman a tip for keeping tulips fresh.  Cut the stem at an angle and poke a hole through the top, right below the flower (but not all the way through) put in a GLASS vase with a little bit of sugar
Cut the stems every few days and change the water.  I saw some lovely purple tulips in Lidl the other day, reasonable price too.

I don't usually buy tulips.. But the tip is good to know..

Our wide grass verge ... on a hill leading into town is awash with crocuses..
Beautiful sight..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Thanks for the tip, Alex.

I love to see all the spring bulbs coming in to life.
It sort of gives one hope, doesn't it.
I've got loads of Snowdrops out,  and mini Daffs and Crocus poking through the soil, too.

So looking forward to Spring.

Me too, lots of snowdrops poking through in the garden atm.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖
