Mups

The title makes a mockery of an act they are showing when this programme returns next week.

The article says it is one of the most gruesome acts aired on this 'talent' show.

An American performer will be seen  hoisting himself above the stage with a chain attached to a meat hook going through his nose and mouth.
He also performs another feat with giant screws pushed up his nostrils.
As well as his  meat hook trick, Auzzy Blood also put a corkscrew up his nose, which then came out of his mouth through the back of his throat.

This show starts at 7pm in the evening,  when many young children will still be up.
Will they try and copy this disgusting nutcase I wonder?
Simon Cowell apparently calls it  "Fun horror."

I'm sorry if I appear a killjoy,  but I am appalled,  I really am.
This is NOT entertainment,  not unless a viewer is as sick as he must be.

Why is an act like this even allowed?   Why encourage this sort of bizarre behaviour?
It's revolting,  and all wrong.

Raven

Sounds revolting. I never watch that show or any of the others like it. Just not my thing.

GrannyMac

Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Mups

No,  nor me.

I really do not think acts like that should even be allowed on telly.

I find the title most amusing. From what I've heard the numbers of non British and/or non talented acts seem to always exceed those in the supposed catchment area.

The last time I saw any of it I recall an act that got sent through to the final. The acts name was Chopping Wood. That is what he did. No more no less.

Mups

Good grief.
I don't recall that one,  although I must confess I don't watch them all.

I just thought things like this could be dangerous to the wrong minds,  but I expect the Judges are only interested in viewing figures.

klondike

That must have been 5 years or more ago. I'll see if there is a youtube. It was crap enough for one to have been made.

Here you go. 2010

It's a wonder he didn't chop his fingers off,  poncing about with a chopper like that.

Some men are quite adept at skillful handling of their choppers. He looks like he does so regularly.

Unfortunately Britain has little talent..
The program was fine a few years back but the likes and talent of Susan Boyle are long gone..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

All the washing up?
Cooking our dinner for a week?
Or buying us all a nice treat?
