This goes to prove that if Nigel Farage was the Prime Minister, these ongoing problems, these dangers, would be overcome almost overnight.
The first move is to leave the ECHR.  The next is to stop funding and pandering to the EU.
We need a party which will stand up for the UK and do all that is necessary to stop this ongoing invasion.
The next move would be to deport illegals en masse, and if their origin cannot be determined put them in prison camps.  Yes, prison camps.  Many of our own fighting men lived in such places for part of the war and were able to survive nevertheless, later to be repatriated.  If our illegals feel the same way, they also may wish to be repatriated!

Starmer was raised in a Marxist home by his famed Tool Making father who also 'owned' the company.  He is an achiever by attrition and machievellian opportunism and is known to resent those with flair and the ability to innovate. For him everything is rehearsed. He is totally unable therefore to consider multi factored values before making decisions. His ever narrowing pathways eventually restrict the choice of retraction. In short he lacks either inspiration or bandwidth.

No.  Unfortunately, no-one stood for Reform in my constituency.
The best I could do was not to vote for any other person standing.
Consequently, not that it was likely to make any practical difference, I scrawled 'REFORM' in capital letters across all the names of the standees!

I assure you that should Reform ever stand in my constituency, that is where my vote will go.

You describe him better than I could have done.  Well said!

One here too who got my vote.

Unfortuanately he didn't do all that well.

Labour                                               16,890
Conservative                                      12,819
Reform UK                                           8,210
Liberal Democrat                                 3,193
Green                                                   2,398
Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition    296
Climate Party                                            98

We almost certainly will be having locals come May so I hope Reform do better then. That said they must really be scraping the barrel......

There is a branch meeting this coming Tuesday so I may go along. I haven't so far as they seems to have been more about selecting officials and I'm just interested in being a foot soldier.

If we can discount the Greenies and Climate Party, which are supported by those people who are concerned about nothing other than that sort of thing, we can think about the possibility of floating voters or others who are willing to reconsider.

The Conservatives are now realising that the last 14 years under that party has been wasted by a succession of short-term PMs.
The Labour supporters must now realise that their party has achieved absolutely nothing in several months in power and, worse, caused much damage over 13 years of BLiar and Brown.

There will, of course, always be those who cannot change their opinions and will continue to support both of those parties but logically, having experienced nothing good for those 27 years, must at least be considering a third option, and I don't mean Liberals!  I continue to live in hope, but if at the next GE it is once again the so-called 'two main parties', I shall give up.

To be a good councillor would take a lot of time and I really don't think I'd have the patience to deal with the sort of people who would demand some of that time.

To be a good politician requires a certain presence and oratory skills and I'm smart enough to know that I possess neither. I don't mind delivering leaflets or other stuff they may need doing but as JBR suggests I'm too old to consider being a councillor and don't possess the people skills for sure. I'm far too blunt for a start.

I voted reform .
The candidate didn't get many votes but still there was no one else worthy of my vote.

Think you should ask if you can have whatever title is necessary for you to enter the House of Lords.  It's one heck of a great care home, well heated and heavily subsidised food.  Just to top it off, you get £300 every day you doss down there.
