Musk isn't friends with Farage anymore , saying  'Farage doesn't have what it takes to lead the Reform party'..

Kids in the playground comes to mind.. Not sure which has the most marbles ... Maybe Musk...
However, I do believe that Musk can .. with words and power.. destroy the party..

I guess .. If you play with the big boys.. They usually win the game..
  'Lessons learned' !!!! .. I think not..

Its all about Tommy Robinson.

The problem is there are many who are really averse to him as we have seen already here.
Should Farage embrace him it would probably put off more support than it would attract.
Those who do support TR will almost certainly already be in favour of Reform.
Some will be put off Reform by Farage refusing to endorse him but almost certainly a lot less than would be gained if he did.

Neither Musk nor TR stand any chance of challenging the Uniparty.
Reform lead by Farage does.
Reform lead by anybody else probably doesn't.

It's a numbers gme. IMO Farage has made the correct decision.

Just came across a poll of Express readers which is going to be predominantly Reform supporters if only because others are unlikely to bother with the poll...

There will always be differences of opinion.  This is inevitable.
Tommy Robinson seems to be of a similar opinion to me, except that he is rather too overt and that attracts people who are seen as being too arrogant and possibly dangerous.  I believe that Tommy could be of benefit to the country if he could calm down a little and be less arrogant.

2TK has contrived to have him put in jail, whereas other potentially dangerous people who now seem to be hoping to take control of this country by religious means (and with whom 2TK agrees) are either given minimal punishment or even ignored completely.

The country is becoming increasingly divided.

Although I think Tommy Robinson has had unfair treatment at times, I do agree that Nigel has made the correct decision, Reform doesn't need him in the party.  BUT is there anything stopping Nigel from coming out and saying Tommy's sentence is absurd ?

Ashy

I haven't seen any evidence that TR wants to join the Reform party. His sentence is clearly political as were several others of recent months, but if Nigel doesn't see TR as an asset that's his choice.

Given TR's checkered past involving hooliganism and fraud, it's entirely sensible for Farage to keep a bit of a distance.

Am surprised Labour haven't given TR a role though.😉😬

Alex

Labour too worried about their muslim vote to offer Tommy Robinson a role.

It would be seen by some as an endorsement. I can see potential pitfalls and I can't see any benefits. Whatever Farage says would have no positive effect on the way TR gets treated.

That most certainly would put the cat among the pigeons...

I wonder whether Farage sees TR as likely to split the membership of Reform.  We need to have as many members as possible, as there are only 4 1/2 more years until the next GE, and if Reform fail to be elected then the country is doomed.
I'll be 77 by then (perhaps!).  If Labour should be re-elected (thanks to the increasing number of illegals being give the vote), this country will become the first muslim state in west Europe.

I think he's just trying to keep things as clean as possible JB, so that nothing comes back to bite him and Reform on the derrière.

Although Labour haven't a number of demonstrable incompetents and liars, not many of them seem to have a criminal conviction.  As you recall, only recently one minister had to quit when it was discovered that she'd diddled an insurance claim over her (not) lost mobile phone.

I don't think Farage will be PM
He is a good agitator but would he be a good leader ?
However the standard is so low anything is possible .

klondike

Sounds rather sensible in this rather than just an agitator
