Apart from our minister's daughter I never met another one until we moved to England!
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

I was at school with one and there's a couple up here in the area.

My grandparents were in service. Gardener and cook/housekeeper. I was the posh folks godchild and got given a middle name the same name as their son. They thought I might cop a few bob. I got £100 from a will probably worth millions and had to put up with that name forever.

Not playing guessing. I'd deny it even if anyone got it right.

Absolutely! I'm the poshest person I know ☺️. Not.

I bet klondike's middle name is much posher!  Double barrelled with a hyphen.  Cholmondley-Smythe.  😬

Assuming that means 'good looking', yes, very appropriate, but incorrect.

Old fashioned even 70 odd years ago and certainly posh while I'm as common as muck. Like I said not playing guessing games though but as JBR is...

Bertram - must be a bit posh as I worked for a business owned and run by a Bertram in the very distant past and he was posh.

No, not Bertram.  Perhaps a little more posh than that.  I was named after my dad's best friend's surname.
