Quote from: JBR on December 11, 2024, 12:21:53 PMMy name is John.  Once, it was probably one of the most common names in this country.  I was looking at a list of the most common names today, and mine didn't even appear on a very long list!

My grandson is named John, after his dad and his grandad. I've always called him JJ though, for John Junior and he likes that, his mates call him J.

My name is Scottish, and uncommon.  Not many of us, I've met two others.

I like Maggie, I had two Aunt Margarets, one was known as Peggy or Peg.  Maggie is more elegant IMO.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

No.  For anyone that doesn't know, it's Elspeth.  Scottish form of Elizabeth.

A lovely name.

Oh, yes, I think Elspeth is nice as well!  😉

If you think that is unusual, you haven't seen my middle name!  😨
