Scrumpy

I find it uncomfortable talking to those who are (experts) in many subjects..
.. and use long words..
I don't enjoy chatting with those who brag and want everyone to know what they have regarding property, cars etc...

Though I am a people's person I much prefer listening to those who are just down to earth..
There is nothing better than sitting on a bench chatting with a stranger..
After a while you feel that you have known them for years..

And what of those who tell you about all their illnesses and such a painful childbirth with labour lasting many days.. !! ... Pensioners have wonderful memories..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Just you be careful about who you sit next to on a bench.  There will be those who convincingly tell you how much you both have in common.  Be very wary!

I don't go around looking for benches so I can chat to someone..
I just think that you can meet some interesting people whilst sitting on a bench...

I sat by a woman and her husband.. She was telling me that he was her second husband and that she wished she had remained a widow.. and the reasons why..
I felt sorry for the husband .. Sitting close by..
Very quietly I reminded her that he was sitting there and wasn't she concerned about the things she was saying about him..
She answered. 'Nah!! He's almost deaf.. He can't  hear a thing'..  :nooo:

Mups

I'll sit on the bench and have a natter with you Scrumps.
We could even have a sarnie and feed the ducks if it gets a bit warmer.

Well, I'm interesting.
You can sit on a bench and chat to me.  I'd be very happy to do that.
Though better not to tell Marge!
