Trump has given Elon Musk a role in government..
He is now on the road to becoming a President in the future.. Mark my words..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I don't think he can - he is not an American by birth. That ruled out Swartzenegger who was a state governor somewhere iirc.

Strings will be pulled...  Money rules....

It's in the US Constitution. They treat that seriously.

Isn't it just the President who has to born American ?

Alex

Yes, which rules him out as a future president.

You don't have to be the President to be the President.

You are so right... Money talks..

Obama was the puppeteer concerning Biden and Harris .
In my opinion..

I don't think Musk would be satisfied with being the invisible power behind a figurehead. He's one hell of an extrovert and seems to love attention. Whatever he does even with power can't be worse than the Biden years. The western  world needs a strong US president not one tripping down all over the place and making an arse of himself.

Aha!  Yes, I have always said that Biden must have been nobbut a puppet president.
Surely, no-one so far gone that he has no idea what he's saying or doing, must be nothing more than there for show.  Obama is the ideal puppet-master, as he wouldn't dare to try to stand as president himself!

It's those inconvenient rules again. It's not a case of wouldn't dare to stand - he did his two terms and can't run again.

It occurs to me that Trump also cannot stand more than twice.
Perhaps he'll think of Obama and do the same thing next time!
I wonder who he'll choose!

I think one of the Trump boys will be waiting in the wings..
They have that superior walk.. stance .. about them.. Inherited from their father..

The chances are Vice President JD Vance will get the nomination next time around. Puppeteers are only needed if the party selects an incompetent.

In this country we don't seem to get them despite only electing incompetents or if we do the puppeteer is incompetent too.

Alex

I too think J D Vance will be nominated next time, with possibly Robert Kennedy as his running partner
