This's ex abuse took place 50+ years ago.
Useless as he is why is it his fault ?

Google is your friend.
From first hit in search for "why is Welby being told to resign"

Justin Welby is facing mounting pressure to resign after it emerged last week that he did not follow up rigorously enough on reports of John Smyth's "abhorrent" abuse of more than 100 boys and young men.

A review of the Church's handling of Smyth's case said the archbishop "could and should" have reported the case to authorities when details were presented to him in 2013.

Because he didn't elevate it and the QC continued to abuse youngsters.

At least we now know what Lineker's next job will be 😬😬😬

klondike

Lineker seems to think he already holds the really top job in that area.

Well, perhaps Welby can take over at MoTD?

Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Does this mean Welby won't be allowed into the House of Lords unless, of course, he is given a knighthood for his services to child protection?

He'll soon be doing the Lambeth Walk.
