Alain Delon has died at the age of 88.   Famous even in this country, what a handsome man he was   RIP

Smoking that cigarette will have knocked years off his life!

Seriously, he was indeed very handsome.

R.I.P - Very handsome man - what did he do?

Wonderful in Scorpio (1973) with Burt Lancaster, a delightful Cameo in 'The Yellow Rolls Royce' (1964), 'Diabolically Yours', with the unbelievably beautiful Senta Berger (1967). Principally of course his main films were French. He spoke Italian and English, fluently.

A true Class Act, farewell Alain and thank you ...

Always reminded me (looks) of one of my boyhood hero's, 'Robert Horton' who played the scout 'Flint McCullough' in the TV series 'Wagon Train' with the wonderful 'Ward Bond' (1957-62).

One of my favourites after seeing him in From Here to Eternity, was Montgomery Clift.  Sadly died at 45.

"From Here to Eternity" of course but a fine part, unforgettable as Petersen, in "Judgement at Nuremberg". Dead at 45 - a real loss.
