Hmm... I wonder if that was the portait inspiration

Me neither, I'm sure he didn't ask to be born into that family.

Seems harmless enough to me but maybe a tad daffy.

The Animal Rights loonies have deface the painting .
Hopefully  not done any damage but really.

I am all for Animal rights but the AR nutters would be better to go after Halal killing rather that the Kings portrait.

It's a terrible shame when art if not safe .

Blooming attention seekers.  Can't they find other ways of drawing attention to their cause other than by making people think that they (and thus what they are advocating) is most likely loopey?

Sorry Muddy,  I keep messing up my replies tonight!

I was trying to say, that it said on the news tonight that the painting has a perspex screen over it,  so I doubt there is any damage to the actual painting if it was protected like this.

I don't  know what these people think their actions will prove.

It proves that they need to be incarcerated within protective Perspex boxes so that they can't harm anyone nor damage anything beyond the walls of the box.

That is exactly what they are in my opinion.
Surely, they know that they will never actually achieve anything through their ridiculously childish actions.
Naughty school children who get a kick out of disrupting life for others.
It would all stop if we were rather more strict with them.  They only do it because they know they can.

I agree with a lot of what the animal activists are saying, but they do themselves no favours by carrying on like this.
