I have always thought ( and I am not a royalist ) that Queenie could have retired 20 years ago and given him a go at Kingship before he got so old .

I have always felt sorry for him.. A king waiting in the wings for many years... 
He seems a gentle soul..

It's not what they do though. God appointed, oath of lifetime service  plus probably more. That said some European Royal took early retirement recently. Forget who.

I read the statement. Can't see how they can spin that out more than a brief report. Not that I watch live TV anyway.
We had a thread about Mr. Edwards piece to camera last year. Old news.

I do agree that there is far too much media coverage..
And it is mainly people giving their own opinions of the story..

I bet Andrew .. And Harry are getting worried.. should  William have to take over from Charles ...
