Remember the letter signed by dozens of Labour MPs which helped stop the deportation flight to Jamaica of rapists, murderers and child sex offenders ?  One of the men on that flight went on to murder in the UK.

Well it looks like one of the ringleaders, Shabana Mahmood  has been made Shadow Justice Secretary, oh the irony !

Well I reckon it's a crafty move.

All she has to do is legalise immigration via any means & the illegal immigrant issue won't exist.

Of course they'll still need to be housed & to access to all the services but they'll be in the UK legally.

Therefore, Starmer will be able to claim that Labour has solved the illegal immigrant problem without actually having to do anything.

I suppose that if the UK vets immigrants so that only those with a propensity for criminal activity are allowed in, then they'll end up being housed in His Majesty's Prisons.  Problem solved, if we can actually find anyone who can build these new gaols cheaply.  Perhaps we could send foreign aid overseas somewhere so that they can set up factories which build pre-fab prison cells, and then we can buy them back.

A bit like New Labour's PFI scheme, they got private investment firms to build hospitals & then rented them from the investors.
