I am getting rid of a rogue tree/bush that is growing at rapid speed (within) my favourite tree/ bush.
I was on a roll .. then I saw the rogue tree's biggish trunk..
I sawed and sawed.. My lovely tree/bush is now only half her size..

So funny.. She will grow again.. She flowers in the summer and has fiery red branches in the winter.. She was very tall..

Just over zealous pruning then. Usually when I pruned anything it stayed pruned. I was banned eventually.

Pruning. !!  That wasn't pruning .. I was sawing a thick trunk..
She looks very skinny now..  Probably do her good.. The cats would hide under her hanging branches to catch a passing bird..

My trouble is I don't judge when to stop very well.
