Agreed. I was gobsmacked when I read they'd previously been charged.

Apparently those charged in the past will now be reimburse - and quite right. The very thought of being locked up for something you didn't do, found not guilty - and then charged for the privilege simply beggars belief

You can't put a price on loss of liberty either. There can be no adequate compensation. Penny pinching on what was probably not overly generous is unforgiveable. Whatever were they thinking.
