McCartney began with the tune and waited til a lyric fitted it.. 'Yesterday' began life as 'Eggs Today', for example. From what I've seen, 'Get Back' was written the same way..Took ages to decide on 'Jo Jo was a man who thought he was a woman' to open it with.. 'Get Back' Racist? Possibly, in a rather innocent way perhaps?
