Lovely sunny day here.  I've been out with my neighbour to a plant and junk shop place  for coffee and cake.

My dizzy vertigo turns which I get if I sit up too quickly are labrynthitis,  I have exercises to do, but I haven't done them for a while.
There's a manoeuvre called Epley which a trained doctor r chiropractor can do which is meant to cure it.

Funny enough,  I asked my GP about the Eppley mannoeuvre  only today, Ruthio.
She wasn't sure if any of the GP's were qualified to do it,  but is going to enquire.
Failing that,  some Physio's can do it.    
I am receiving help from a nice Physio at the moment,  so when I go back to see her I will enquire there as well.

One Doc suggested I had something called  Vestibular Neuritis though.   Something to do with inner ear problems.   
My horrid dizzy turns can last 2 or 3 hours,  not just a few minutes.  It is totally disabling and frightening.

When I went to the E and T man for my dizzy spell he sent me some information on the Eppley manoeuvres  for me to do at home when I next have an attack of this .
They are supposed to reposition the crystals in the ears ( if this is what causes the trouble )
As ( touch wood) I haven't had any since I haven't done any yet .
I will try and find them .

I have found some old paperwork I had which is called  Brandt-Daroff Exercises.
I also googled whether there is a difference between Epley and Brandt-Daroff,  and it said there is.

Apparently Epley is usually done by a practitioner to move the crystals there and then,   while the B.D. ones are for the patient themself to do on repeat.   Something about it retrains the brain after long term dizziness.   Once the Epley is done by a specialist,  we can then carry on with the B.D. ones ourselves at home.

I will do some more research first,  as I am scared incase I make it even worse.

Good morning all.   Another beautiful morning here,  but supposed to be turning wet later.

I have finally got a day to myself after all the appointments I've had to attend this week,  so I am going to treat myself and have my hair trimmed and some new hi-lights put in.

You must have a monopoly on clouds. Second day. on the trot with absolutely none. Only touch of white I saw while out was a contrail and even that was very short. I don't recall seeing a completely cloudless sky before. I almost certainly have but don't recall it.
