I didn't let the grey drizzle put me off. I had a walk up the hill this morning, sans crutches, and accompanied by my OH to our little local Tesco.  It felt like quite an achievement, will be trying to walk a little further each day now.  He hates shopping, but I can't drive atm, so he's been doing admirably to top up the weekly delivery from Sainsbury's. He even braved Lidl last week!

I went up into the attic today to get the Christmas decs down and found a present from last year that  I had forgotten that I was going to give my granddaughter,  she would have loved that kitten.
