The boring thread.....

Alex

I get up at various times, depends how much sleep I've had through the night.
The sun is shining this morning it's lovely but quite chilly.

Mups

That old rust bucket car I had stuck here from over the road,  is still parked outside his house  -  even though it is has a SORN notice.
I am so glad he shifted it off my garden though,  as it seems to me he has no intention of having it taken away, else surely he would have done before now?   I think I was lied to from the start.

Anyway, enough of that now.   MOT tomorrow, before they take mine away for mending next Tuesday.
Let's just hope it passes ok.

It's been quite chilly here today.   Last night's high winds didn't do much damage here,  just blew a couple of tubs over.

I bathed Liffey this morning,  so ready to start giving her a hair cut now  -  when I can catch her!

Thank you for the days, the days you gave me

My days of early rising are long gone.
No kids to get to school,  retired from work - Nah,  no early morning rush for me anymore.  Bliss.

Nor me, I used to be out of bed at the crack of sparrow fart, early o'clock..now I open my eyes, yawn, have a scratch at my bits, a sneaky bum burp and roll over 😀

I have a date for surgery. Four weeks and I should have my bionic knee. 🤞🏼
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Hoorah.  Back on the dance floor by Christmas.

Which reminds me of the very old joke about the Irishman who wrote a letter of complaint to Tampax...

Dear Sir

I've been using your product for three months, but I still can't ride a bike, play tennis, nor swim.

Good news Mac

Busy day yesterday, the house went on the market Monday, estate agent had interested buyers wanting to visit today  :yell: rearranged visits to Saturday. So far 5 buyers coming, we haven't even got the For Sale boards up.

One house next door to me sold in 5 days. The one the other side took longer and for a lot less - that will be two flats - I had a planning request notification. I suspect buyers fear a hike in stamp duty is coming. Or possibly permission will be needed by the forthcoming Stasi.

That's nice

When I ordered my replacement BB there was supposed to be an £85 Amazon voucher. The emails with details on how to claim it should it fail to arrive in 120 days which was an order number then another with some odd code that was also needed. I set myself a reminder to check. It hadn't arrived.  I claimed and after an age got this eMail..

I bet most people forget. Wonder if it will really be £85 or I'll be chasing it.

Houses sell quickly around here too.. Far better than having a For Sale sign outside for ages..
People get suspicious of that.. thinking something is not right with the property..
Make the most of it.
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

We have new neighbours both sides. One took over a year to sell, the other less than a week.  It was more expensive, beautifully modernised, and has a garage.  The other was a mixture of DIY, doggy smells, and strange taste! Young couples in both now.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

It's going a lot faster than I anticipated....
